JVCC REPAIR-2HD is a polyethylene-coated cloth duct tape that's been coated with an extremely strong adhesive. It's specially designed to be a highly effective vinyl and leather upholstery repair tape. It can be used for rips, tears, cover or patch concealment, arts & crafts projects, color coding, camping and many other uses. WARNING: Many seating surfaces have accumulated oils, detergents, polishes, etc. that will prevent pressure sensitive adhesive tapes from forming a bond. Try testing the surface with any available adhesive tape prior to purchasing this product. If that other tape does not adhere you can try cleaning the substrate first with a damp cloth and then allowing to dry completely. If it still does not stick, then you might need one of the liquid seat repair products available on the market instead. Tape rolls are typically cut to standard tape industry metric-cut sizes - or approx 5% narrower than the nominal size (i.e. 24mm per 1-inch of nominal width ordered). Adhesive: rubber.
